New Year…Resolutions

We all get stuck in a rut every once in awhile, even myself.  Regardless of it being related to working out, eating well, personal relationships, or a combination of it all.  It can feel overwhelming and at times it can even feel like you’re hopeless and lost without a direction to turn in.

These are the times where your focus is even more crucial than it is on the days, weeks, and months where you feel on top of your game.

The truth is, it’s hard to dig down deep inside to determine what your next step is.

It’s hard to pick yourself up and convince yourself that the best thing you can do for yourself is push through the tough to get back to the good.

These statements reign true to everything we face from workouts to love and all of the emotions and activities in between.  While most of us believe that we’re better off doing it alone, sometimes we’re right and sometimes we’re wrong, yet given the nature of the human mind we don’t know until it’s done.

As you move forward with your goals this year, imagine the outcome in the future, dream the beautiful big picture of what you want your life to look like, where you want to be, who you want to share it with, and how you want to feel.  Seems silly sometimes the law of attraction, but in one way or another it comes to you if you believe in it but you have to act on it.

Take the time to not only figure out what goals you want to achieve this year, but the goals you want to achieve in five years, and ten years, sixty years.  Where you’ll be, what you’ll be doing, how you’ll feel, what you’ll look like, and who you’ll be with.

Remind yourself of your future, the future only you can create, on a daily basis.

Revisit your dreams, share them with someone so they become a reality that needs to be achieved.

Achieve them, step by step.  Start with the smallest action and grab hold of it, allowing yourself to do whatever it is you want to do, whatever it is you want to be, whatever it is you want to achieve.

Think of all things in life, from success to love as a seed, once you plant it, you till the ground, you water it, you nurture it…

…Take the time to watch it grow.
